So depending on which brand you choose, the lipo could be on a shelf long before you even get it because of the distributor network. I personally wouldn't buy from some distributors out there, as loss leader pricing strategies is an indicator that large volume buys have occurred and the likelihood of receiving an old lipo could increase, specially if the distributor is poor at shipping using FIFO. Finding a brand that is mindful of turning inventory in a reasonable timeframe and who does it continually is what you should consider.
