Yes 100 is absolutely fine but if it ever does overheat here are a few things to look at:

1. Do you have a fan on it? If not then get one!

2. If you do have a fan then check to make sure its operational

3. Servo? Some servos may cause it to draw too much current on bec. Either get a different servo, use a rx battery, or use a cap

4. Just because the connectors look fine, doesnt mean theyre not faulty. Replace them with high quality connectors.

5. Over gearing will strain your motor, esc, and battery causing overheating. Drop the pinion tooth or raise the spur tooth. The opposite of undergearing can cause overheating as well by prolonged maxing out the motors RPMs.

6. Weight of vehicle. Do you have excessive amounts of aluminum? Put the rc on a diet to lower temps.
