What is considered too high of an IR? And what does cycling your batteries accomplish? Also another question there is a little colored bar graph next to cells mAh(sp.?) When charging what does that signify?
I think a good IR is from 2-4 and when you see a pack getting old or having a bad cell you will see 7-14 I have some old packs that are still good in the 5-6 range. Cycling the battery will lower the resistance. Like when you first hook up a battery at storage voltage the IR will be like 6 and after its charged it will drop to 3. And the colored bar is showing you which cells are higher than the others and that is the balance circuit draining off excess voltage to bring the pack into balance.
