I have yet to use a lipo battery in a nitro vehicle. But based on the specs, you would probably want a 2 cell LiFe battery instead because it runs a lower 6.6v which will be less of a stress on the receiver which is only rated at 6v. If you plug a fully charged 7.4v lipo into the receiver there is a chance you'll fry it.
Overall the better choice would be to get this receiver instead. Which would make everything you have there compatible.

thanks! How would I know if this receiver is compatible with my MX-V transmitter? It says M12 and Mt4
