Race Directors - Important Computer Setup Information!
Hi WCICS Race Directors,
Luke asked me to provide instructions on the mandatory steps to enable your race computer to work with his WCICS race results database. These steps apply only to clubs running RC Scoring Pro Version 1. If your club is using RCSP2 or LiveTime then you can ignore these two steps as manual intervention from Luke will be required.
For RCSP1, these are the two important steps:
1. Before the event starts, enable LiveRC in the RCSP1 settings. To find this setting, navigate to the Tracks tab, then the Master/Slave (or LiveRC) sub-tab. See this screenshot:
2. After the event finishes, zip up the contents of this folder (C:\RC Scoring\LiveScoring) and email to Luke so that he can import the data into the WCICS database. See the attached screenshot showing an example of this folder. At the end of a WCICS event there could be over 100 files in this folder. Please zip up the entire folder.
