USGT is part of the US Vintage Trans Am sanctioning body. It is different than the Can Am rc racing sanctioning body. Can Am shouldn’t even use USGT because it confuses everything. It should be plain and simple if you race under the US Vintage Trans Am rules for USGT it counts toward the national points. If you race under the Can Am rules the points do not count toward the national points. Different rules different sanctioning bodies. Really can’t be any simpler than that. USGT should never been associated with Can Am
