FWIW there's a guy at Leisure Hours running a 5.5 indoors, and no temp issues I've heard of (Granted, I don't know what gearing he's using). Something in the 5.5-7.5 range seems very fitting. Comparing to a wheeler, the same motor is noticeably slower pushing all that tire/wheel mass.
