I think the key words there are "in the U.S." but if we are brutally honest how many of those would even contemplate going to a worlds level event given that the most popular classes there seem to be classes like 17.5?
A favourite saying of mine recently has been "if you want something you'll find a way, otherwise you'll just find excuses" and people having a cry about track surfaces is exactly that IMO - an excuse.
A track is a track, tyres are tyres and setups are setups, As long as the track offers up a bit of grip everything else can be dealt with and anyone experienced enough to race at that level shouldn't have any issues dialing in a base set up etc.
Now back to racing
