We havnt found it eats aluminum or is really corrosive at all, it can shrink leather shoes a bit and will dry your skin out as well.
It can be mixxed with water and sprayed or laid out in a layer of the track, water it and wait for it to disolve into the soil. It can also be tilled in but it would require a good packing after.
