Default FS: Losi Mini 8ight Desert Buggy (blue)

SOLD

Moving up to 1/8 scale, so I'm selling off one of my favorite RCs, a blue Mini 8ight Desert Buggy in great condition.

This is one of the more recent versions of the platform, so it has 48 pitch gears and the v2 diffs (although I never had trouble with the old ones either). I usually modify my rigs like crazy but this one runs nicely with just a few key upgrades:

Steering Servo:
Savox 1357 Digital - .07 sec response and 34 oz of torque (I tried a lot of servos and on a smaller vehicle like this one I like the speed even at the lower torque rating).

Motor:
Turnigy 2858 motor - this is a great motor for all-around bashing or speed runs. It is rated at 1300 watts (and even discounting for inflated ratings, call it 800-1000) which is an incredible amount of power for such a small vehicle.

Tires:
TIRES IN PICS ARE NOT INCLUDED (the pics are out of date). STOCK TIRES ARE INCLUDED (good condition, >80% life left).

In addition, includes two complete sets of on-road tires for speed runs.

Spare Parts
- Aluminum hexes
- Losi and Hot-racing sway bar sets
- Spur gears
- Carbon fiber shock towers
- Large assortment of screws (from OEM mini 8ight screw set)
- Numerous other parts

Wear and Tear
The underside of the chassis is of course scraped, but well within normal use (see pic). Everything else is in good to very good condition in my opinion (see pics for details). The shocks in particular on this version of the platform are a nice step up from the original M8. Definitely higher quality. And, if you had the original, you might have gotten rocks stuck in the spur, but that's not an issue anymore as this version has a good spur gear cover.

The roof of the body has some scrape and scuff marks from roll-overs.

The main center driveshaft looks like it might have slight bow in it, but it spins up fine and I don't have any trouble with it.

There might be some other minor issues - but the vehicle is sold as-is (it is in full working condition as of this weekend).

That's about it. It is a blast to drive.

Price: $OLD. Buyer pays shipping (which I estimate will be in the neighborhood of $OLD).

What you need to complete this is: receiver, esc, battery. (If you want a receiver + radio I'll add an almost new set taken from another RTR for $45. I do not have a good mini ESC though.)
