Thanks for the opinions and thoughts and knowledge, everyone. I’m only three years in to racing after 35 years tinkering. I did not know about worlds history...I think this is a huge point...along with distance. Also, (and although I dig my xray) I had no idea about the ownership as well as how few of us get to run asphalt. It is a beautiful surface for 1/12...but what, 95 percent of racing is on carpet.

I have to mention this always...1/12th is the most excellentest.
