For 17.5 class without any doubt the ULT version, on CRC carpet the difference respect the Light weight version is big, you can keep the original Ultra Lite wing mounted backward or change it with our 'Charge' wing (but don't think this is necessary at any cost).
What is the rational behind ULT being most optimal for 17.5 stock class? I understand that lighter bodyshell will always result lower CG, but I would think modified car with higher speeds would benefit lower CG even more to avoid traction rolling. Total weight is anyway dictaded by minimum weight limit which modern cars with proper electronics can anyway achieve even with regular weight bodies.
