Homebrewed RC
Hello everyone. A handful of friends from work and school get together every couple of Sundays and race 2wd SCT trucks at 4 different off-road tracks in peoples backyards. We are looking for new members to join us but since it is on private property we are looking to add new members slowly. We have around 15 of us now in our points league. The tracks are all in Adams county right outside of Carlisle PA. We have a lap counter system and a custom written heat/main generator program and charge $20.00 for a whole season to race, we put the money into track care and lap counter upgrades. We use basic ROAR rules but don't go to crazy on anything other than no traction control/AVC systems and it is basically a Mod class. Most guys are running around 3500-4000KV motors.
We are discussing next year running every Sunday and dropping half the races for the points at the end of the season. There are no awards other than a small trophy for the winner as it is all for fun.
