It really depends on your electronics. The juststock tends to get warm is 17.5 2wd. I would probably run a fan on it. For a fixed timing motor, you won’t be able to use timing, (which is what creates most of the heat) so probably no fan there. For a timed motor, you will want a fan so that you can push your motor and go faster!
