You're trading a communist hellhole for one that the actual commies are migrating to and turning into a communist hell hole (just that area, the rest of Texas is safer).
That said, you've got Thornhill Racing Circuit not too far from you, like 20-30 miles. They host some pretty badass races there. The 1/8 track is covered and the 1/10th track is astroturf and indoor.
