I apologize for missing your point. Sounds like you are using the IOS app which did have a bug that set the BEC voltage incorrectly. However as of the new version it should be fixed. Are you using the newest 15.29.0 version of the App?

That is not something we have seen before. If the Hotwire units work with the gen2 units then seems they are fine. Probably need to email
[email protected] so we can dig into it with you step by step to make sense of it. You do have to leave the fan setting set to always on for the Hotwire to work in the data port, but that should be the default after you updated them and set there already, also would not cause a dim blue light.
