I don't know how thick the tuning kit chassis is but one track layout I practiced a lot on the tuning chassis was to flexible for all the jumps my chassis flexed so much on the layout and was burning marks in the tank. I know that can happen If the motor comes loose but it wasn't loose at all the chassis was to flexible on that layout so if the new chassis is around that thickness that extended motor mount would help with that.
What for motor mount you using? I use the quick change mount...gives a little extra support. Use to have a king headz extended mount, but sold it long ago...wish I had it for the tuning chassis. Have the front alum. brace in and thinking about putting my alum. back brace in. I noticed the bell rubbing the tank in last weeks race but had a couple of crazy crashes "more then normal" " token" ..lol. But need to say...them K-cars were hooking up...not sure why.
