You can't compare the flex of the 4.0 tuning kit chassis to the X.
beyond the above mentioned reasons for oneone new chassis is much wider, two I'd suggest they haven't milled the sides folds off like before. It will most likely be stiffer than the stock 4.0 chassis. But that wasn't all that stuff either compared to a 3mm chassis without the sides milled down
