who said anything about wanting it to be the fastest thing on the track? or 1/8 motors? i said that from my experience in this class, a 2 pole 540 is not the best option. granted, like i said, the et410 will probably be a bit lighter than older iterations (hyper TT, ten-t). people who attempted to use them quickly found that they heated up to unacceptable levels. here is a video from that time. ten-t's (with 1/8 buggy wheels/tires) and hyper tt's. all using 550's. do they look ridiculously overpowered?

i want to see the tiny track with the tiny triples that this thing will clear consistently for 6-8 minutes with a 10.5. i run 13.5 wheeler and most tracks that have triples i cannot consistently clear for 6-8 minutes (and neither can anyone else in the class). i would imagine that best case, this et410 with a 10.5 would be comparable power to the 13.5 wheeler class. just saw that you mentioned boost. perhaps that could be doable as my 13.5 wheeler with boost is a totally different animal than blinky. unless 10.5 would be the spec motor for this class, why would you want to motor down with boost? only reason i've run my wheeler boosted is that i mainly run 13.5 but if the class isn't offered, i'll just boost it.
