This was my regiment before trying motiv's lg2 which works well but maybe too well as it slowed times by providing too much grip. Funny though since I had a guy say it doesn't work because "over time" the brake cleaner would "dry the oils" in the tires. Which i thought was funny because there's really no "over time" when racing asphalt since you're lucky if a set lasts more than a day on asphalt, But I digress, this has proven to work well where I race in Maryland(asphalt). On our indoor carpet track we use the petroleum based gojo which also seems to work well on asphalt too but not as well as wd40.
