Here’s another option for wheels. This adapter will let you run any 12mm hex 2.2 wheels on the 8mm stub axle. I’m not sure what width can be achieved on the Associated truck though, but I know some guys achieved the legal 13.5” on Tekno SC and eb48.3 . With these adapters you’ll have tons of options with the vast amount of 2.2 wheels and tires out there.
