My hope is that Proline will make a Hyrax tire for the Traxxas UDR and that in turn is great for the DB8. We'd be able to use any tires released for the UDR. Another option is a softer tire from Traxxas as the stock one is a hard compound. Lastly would be an option from AE for the DB8, but that seems highly unlikely.

1/8 buggy wheels and tires and the 17mm 2.8 wheels and tires are the go to option at the moment.

Now if you want to invest in the 2.2 17mm aluminum wheels by Motoworxracing. Then any 2.2 tire is game on. They will set you back around 186.00 bones plus tires and upgraded foam. If desired. I'm currently using a set on my Arrma Rock Racer. Which, I first attempted to use on my DB8. Unfortunately it sets you wider than the 13.5" allowed for U4RC racing. Hence the reason I built an ARRMA. I'm the first to do it and it's legal. Confirmed by the good fellas at U4RC.

Heres my DB8 with the 2.2 Motoworx racing 17mm wheels

My arrma rock racer u4rc legal.

I would have posted sooner but I was having issues posting images on this forum. Seems all is good now.
