Really, if it is a plain wire you can use all kind of stuf like a wire from a piece of telephone cable, an old floppy flatcable or a wire from an old broken servo.

The coax is not always a plug but as long no model is mentioned we can not look with TS to see what is arround. But if the coax is soldered you can cut off the connector, strip it short and solder it to the PCB.
