Ps The JQ is a new car and I assume that there is a good reason to have the same approach for the size of the shocks as others but I don t know which it is.
Every 1/8 buggy has longer shocks in the rear. This is due to a few reasons such as a 53% rearward weight distribution, but we've tested using the rear shocks with custom shock towers on the front end before and the stock front shocks ended up being better.
