I have no idea if this is correct, but will not be surprize. I have no any ties with STS.
I know that STS got some piston material from Russia and they are testing it, but again have no idea about BRB.
The good thing about any testing with BRB, that I am first who brought this composion to RC cars and over the 1.5 year we did made a lot of testing and developments, so everybody else has to go throught the same process and this is what called "chasing the tail". There is no way any manufacturer will be repeat our lay outs and materials, so they will need to go through their own developing process.
As I have told before we are right now finishing test Bi-metall set up (just for info-first time ever-not in real engines, not in RC engines bi-metall was use or even tested) and results are ammazing. It will take a while before it will be available (3-6 month). This is will be next step for "chasing the tail".
