So I'm hoping that there are some tracks in the Sarasota area that I can check out and see if maybe they have an "Old Fart" class with marshals???? LOL.
If you move to the Sarasota area, you'll find a club that races on asphalt in Ft Myers. There's also another facility there that will be hosting the 2018 ROAR Nats. Also DDH Indoor complex is opening this month in Port Richey, just 1.5hrs north of Sarasota. The facility looks great so far. You'll also find covered outdoor racing at S&S Hobbies in Tampa.
In the center of the state, you'll find Full Throttle RC Raceway in Kissimmee, and Nuggets Ranch RC in Arcadia....both are great! Move towards the east and you have awesome asphalt facilities in Royal Palm Beach and in Valkaria (my home track). Then move further up and you have 386 Raceway in Daytona for more indoor carpet racing. Great group up there!
Then there's the FSEARA Series which travels the state and crowns the state champions. Lastly, the Snowbird Nationals every year in Kissimmee. I invite you to join in on the Florida Racing forum. If you like to race on-road, then here you'll be able to find whatever suits your taste. We're very lucky here. Hope to race with you in the future!
