I was under the impression that you maintain the same power, its just more linear response, but that is only what I read.
I think Im going to pursue it, even if it is a drop in power, the gratitude of getting it working well might be worth the drop in top speed. Plus, I run an 'imaginary' track in my basement ( 9 second laps) so top speed is something I've never experienced.
