Can someone explain whether or not the CRC is technically legal or not after reading Rules 1.5 then rule 1.15. Every single one I have seen breaks this rule cause the chassis is so wide up front it is really visible protruding from body when viewing from above though it could have been just the type of body that they were using
The WTF is legal. What the rule is really intended for was keeping the pickup points for the lower and upper arms under the body. No protruding hinge pins and mounts. The CRC only has a little bit of chassis just behind the front suspension and has been legal for the last 4 years now.
