The SC10 4x4 is quite durable, but then so are the other 4x4s. I did manage to destroy a shock tower on the SC10 4x4 once, nothing so far on the SCTE 3.0. Both have taken quite nasty tumbles. The SCTE is only 200g heavier than the SC10, not such a big deal. But the SC10 is a nimble platform, it should indeed do quite well on technical indoor tracks. The biggest downside with it was doing maintenance. I hate doing maintenance on any car, but that one was the worst I've had.
At any rate it's all about using what works for you, and certainly the SC10 4x4 isn't a bad car even today. If it was, it wouldn't have been winning championships back in the day. It has far more potential that I ever will
