I need some of those little tie-rods, but I'm not sure if I can stomach robbing it from one of my NIB kits! I'm sure I could use some of the Spada rods, but wonder if the ball ends might be too thick or if they'd thread onto some originals. Foamie planes use rods like that for their control surfaces...just got to find some the same length. Or you can get some rod with a threaded end at a hobby shop, bend your own z-bend into them and cut to length. I did that with my last plane.
