Interesting, JAE. Going from the 22-3.0 to the B6d (both stand-up configuration) I found the opposite. My 22 was fast, but I struggled a little bit with rear grip, never steering. Going to the B6D, I picked up enough rear grip that I was satisfied that I wouldn't need to go back to rear-rotor, but it took a few race days and a few aftermarket parts to get it to steer adequately (could still use more). Now it's very easy to drive and consistent, but still not as sharp as my TLR 3.0 was.
