There seemed to be no competitive edge between the setups based on last week's race. We had 3 lemans based cars with the 25.5 setup and 2 wgtr based cars running 17.5 1s running together and lap times were identical. Obviously we encourage the rules based setup of the wrc chassis etc.....but this class is designed to be an equalizer and keep the cars as close as possible and it's working so far. I am running the rules based chassised car with the exception of crc premounts and a jconcepts body, 3 others are as well. One person has a converted xray x1 and associated f6 with a tamiya nissan nismo lm body but still running the hobbywing 25.5 and wrc p-one kit premount tires.
Our fast lap times between the 5 of us that ran were 10.1 to 10.6 so a half a second difference amongst 5 racers makes for some great racing
