Do you have the "regular" or the "
maxzilla" one with the HT rotor? You can generally run more gear/timing with the HT rotor which leads to better laps times, especially in 13.5/4w.
The other thing with Trinity motors is that ever since they started offering the "
Certified plus" motors for as much as a high-end ESC (!?!), they're basically admitting that's where the good ones are going and while I don't personally run anything from Trinity anymore, I've heard it in-person from several people who do that the more base model ones have become much more hit or miss as a result.
