Oh boy, oh boy, did we had fun today

VW Scirocco bodies, 17.5t motor, box stock tires, Tamiya rims... Super close fights, a little like in the movie "The italian job". Three drivers battling it out on the racetrack bumper to bumper, wheel to wheel, parallel If one made a small mistake he instantly lost two places or we all crashed. Just awesome!



My car was equipped with a 10.5t motor which I turned down to 45% on the transmitter. This way I lost around one meter on the straight which I fought back in the Infield due to the lightweight chassis and better cornering performance. That sounds pretty unequal, but was pretty good.





The stock tires gave an impressively high amount of grip. We just "woke" them up with tire additive for three to five times. I for myself then stopped and just cleaned the tires with brake cleaner. We also didn't glue them to the rim and never had a problem. That was very surpising. The prize is also very attractive, around half of a premounted race tire.

The car drove very well, again I brake to prevent overshooting, then just pull the car with the throttle around the corner before even reaching the apex.
