Thanks for following up about the layshaft. I had one sitting around from a KF2 and it looks fine. Not sure if they had a widespread issue with them or if it was just a couple kits here and there. Who knows. Just glad to see them take care of it.

That's really interesting about the astro at Thornhill. Here at Larry's the astro is more like the other side of the velcro (the hard hook side). In fact, it is very similar to a 3m Scotchbrite pad. It will eat a set of yellow compound mini Darts in one heat. I run blue compound in the rear and even then they are only good for about 2 race days max.
