I wouldn't read into that cross weight at all. Three twists on a shock collar and it will be perfectly even.

Thanks for the rough corner measurements! 40 grams extra on the front of the car out of the box still seems sub-optimal to me. Might work on a few surfaces, but knowing you have to add extra weight to adjust the front/rear bias is unfortunate. Wonder how long until we see speed controls and receivers mounted behind the center diff.
