I switched to position #3 with foam tires. With the motor in position #2 there was too much weight transfer to the outside front tire even with the 4.6# springs. The front end would just colapse at the apex of the corner. This is with the Gone Bananas foams and on black carpet. The buggy became a lot more consistant after the switch to #3. It's something to try if you have the time.
I was on carpet (position 3) and getting this in the middle of the corner, i now run front and rear sway bars and it's tamed it to a point where i don't have to worry about it any more (black front and rear green springs 550cst front and 400cst rear oils).
Since switched to 35wt front and 30wt rear to see what happens - hopefully it'll change direction quicker.
