Not really more steering but a consistent feel. If you run it on the steering rack it will change the ackerman and give you a little more stable and calmer steering. Just like turning the steering plate around to calm the car down and not make it so twitchy. If the track is really slick and you are getting a lot of oversteer it would be good to try to not change the whole setup.
