Until the rod starts hitting the bottom of the sleeve. Unfortunately quality control seems to be lacking. My first batch was 2 palomas...no issues. 2nd batch I purchased 3 and all 3 rods hit the sleeve ; last season I would recommend this engine to anyone, Now I would suggest you stay away!!
