That may be too big of a track to run 21-22 on an 8.5 turn motor. I would start at 19 pinion and go up from there. They key is to not overheat your motor. I use to have them go up to 180F, but it seems to kill them faster. I now hover between 150F and 160F operating temperatures.

Anyone else share thoughts on motor temps?
