thanks again for the tips - new setup had me running with way more confidence on the rough track. I didn't end up getting a chance to do the brass C block or X rings but the 1.7 pistons, green springs all around and 37.5/30wt shock oil did the trick. Qualified 2nd and won the main! (top guy was out so didn't really count and need a rematch). Buggy was really fun to drive.
