Stock stiffiners can definitely be used. Cut them so you have 6 total stiffiners place them just behind front wheel, in front of rear wheel and behind rear wheel. If you use the stock screws just know that they use a 1/16 head not a 1.5mm. Alternatively, you can use double sided servo tape if you don't want to use the screws but I like the security the screws provide.
