So the Picco pipe doesn't fit correctly on the .28 5TR then cause the Picco pipes have a bent manifold for bent exhaust port? Sometimes different engines use different sized exhaust gaskets I noticed.
That's good to know. What Jp pipe did you put on it? I have two jp3 and one jp4. I think I'll just try one of those for now or I'll try the novarossi pipe I have now. But if someone knows a Picco pipe meant for the .28 5TR engine let me know! Thanks
Ditto on the Picco pipe for the .28 as I'm wondering the same thing.
I put a JP6 on it for now. I'm thinking the JP6 is a real P-O-S though. Having a hard time finding anything the JP6 will work good with.
I'll know soon enough if the JP6 is just an all around crappy pipe but I do have all the other JP pipes: 2 or 3 JP1s, 2 JP2s, 1 of the JP3, and 1 of the JP4 which was hookedup to my previously mentioned JL28. Some of those JP1, JP2, and the JP3 are still new in box. The JP3 is the only one I've never tried yet so thinking I'd like to see what it's like on this Picco 28.
The exhaust seal was really strange. The one that came with it didn't work with anything. The JP seal with the JP pipe wasn't so good either. After trying several including Alpha and other OFNA seals, I think I recall going with a Nova Rossi seal (blue one) that seamed to sit best on it with the JP header.
