I can't decide what motor and esc to get, hoping you guys could help. I'm worried about overheating my electronics here in Texas, especially since I bought 40 series Trenchers before I knew they were unusually tall. I read a post on URC where someone was saying you'd need a 1350 or 1400kV motor for a tire this big in the MT410 and even then you'd have to watch temps if you did a lot of high speed in deeper grass (most of where I plan to run is a grassy, hilly park).

I was originally planning to get the 1350kV Tekin RX8 esc and motor combo, but I don't see many bashers running Tekin, and it's not waterproof, which would be nice. But I do like that the esc is small and fits the MT410 location, also like that it's sensored, and that the motor is small enough to fit perfectly and not require dremeling, and that it will probably be no issue to fit a large range of pinions on it when winter rolls around.

Should I just get the Tekin and stay away from water? I've seen some nice combos from Hobbywing (xerun) but if I ever wanted to run 6S someday it looks like I'd be limited to their biggest ESC, and they don't seem to offer a low enough kV motor.

I plan to run the True Spec Premium 14.8V 6700mAh 4S battery.

I have the same LiPo
