I used a basic XL5 just because it was what I had laying around.

Other than Drag brake, it did the job. Its not Ideal, but for a WP ESC, its def. a cheap option.


I've since switched to the Hobbywing QuicRun WP Crawler Brushed

For starting out, I wouldn't spend a fortune on an ESC, and you can get away with the lower 60a ESC, but overall I like my QuicRun 80A.
