I finally hit the track with my TRF101 this past weekend. I didn't make a lot of laps and the ones I did I was taking it easy being first time on carpet in 4 years, first time on the Black carpet ever, and the first time I drove the 101. I will say that I was very impressed and if I could have ran some more I could have been a lot faster. My first timed lapped matched my fast lap in my old Exotek F1Ultra 200mm car. And I made no adjustments since I built car with the exception of taking out some excess rear droop. I had the gearing all wrong and needed to drop several teeth on the pinion. But self induced technical failures ended the day (forgot soldering iron and made a bad A wire solder. That said I expect to drop at least a second per lap next time out and maybe more if I really ring it out.
