Not technically diffing out but same effect while braking... 2wd buggy skids out a bit sideways while braking in a straight line. Have two identical buggies set up basically the same way. One does it, the other doesn't. It brakes in a straight line like I have the wheels turned a little bit. Anyone know where to start?
First thing is make sure your shocks are all set to equal preload, droop and springs are set evenly. If possible put it on a set of corner scales and try to get the rear weights even. Make sure the chassis isn't twisted. Also make sure you have the left/right balance as close to equal as possible.
Other options:
- check rear wheel bearings and diff output bearings for any tight / seized parts
- make sure the rear toe is equal left/right
- make sure the wheelbase is equal left/right
