I run 64p but honestly don't know how low of an FDR I can get. There are so many spur sizes and combos I haven't tried. I run in the 2.'s, and with 1/12 size spurs and pinions you can get into to the 1.'s. Just depends on what you can fit and of course the track you are running. I normally run any where from a 78-88 spur and any where from a 28 to a mid-hi 30s pinion. One of the real racers can answer more accurately. Especially with the 25.5 motors
