Why??? Because it's a hobby and I want to. I already have plenty of 1/10 stuff. I didn't build my rubber 1/12 becasue I hate foam. I did it because I simply wanted it to.

1/12th has a ton of history and uniqueness to it, I honestly don't know why some people want to change it. It works for most people. Truing tires is easy and if you don't own your own than talk to the local track about providing one.
