Have both and both make great primary engines honestly. I don't think there's a better buggy engine for the money than the Elite5. It is my backup, but only because when I went to order another they were out of stock so I bought the P5XLT/16. Also a great engine. The Paloma is a great truck engine. I run a 2096 pipe in buggy and a 9886 in truck.
